Ter Lieberstein is a musician, songwriter, Cantorial Soloist, educator and much more. She is an experienced educator and presenter who loves to share her knowledge and enthusiasm with others. Ter has been a featured speaker, performer and seminar leader at a wide variety of events across the country.
As a Cantorial Soloist, Ter has studied with nationally known Cantor/songwriter Doug Cotler and attended classes at Hebrew Union College and American Jewish University. She has also performed and presented at the CAJE conference for Jewish educators and musicians.
Ter is the founder of Voices of Women, co-writing and producing productions that highlight Jewish women of the Torah with her partner, Wendy Hersh. Ter is also a founding member of Elemental Harmony, a female a cappella trio, and composed both original songs and arrangements for the group.
Ter is also a published author and frequent contributor to various newsletters and periodicals. She focuses on Sim Shalom in the book (Fall 2014), ‘Music, The Carrier of Intention’ in 49 Jewish Prayers. It is a very exciting project with over 50 rabbis, cantors, Jewish musicians, rock stars, blues artists, healers and more sharing their intentions and excitement for Jewish music and Hebrew prayers.
As an educator, Ter is the founder of Nature Watch, a nationally successful environmental education catalog business established in 1986. She has introduced innovative nature programs to children and adults of all ages. The current owners (who were among her first clients) continue to honor Ter’s philosophy of ‘Hands-On, Minds-On Education’ and uphold the integrity of her vision of inspiring curriculum. Ter has designed curricula for all ages in many different topics, both secular and spiritual.
